Our 2008 Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 9th at Martin's West in Woodlawn, MD.
We will serve light fare and refreshments from 5:00 - 5:45 p.m. The business meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. Door prizes and a complimentary gift will be offered to all members* in attendance.
The following people have been selected to serve on the Board of Directors for a term of 3 years beginning April 2008.
Sonya M. Boatwright – Serves on the Loan Review Committee. Currently employed by the Social Security Administration (SSA) as a Human Resources Specialist in the Center of Human Resources, Labor and Employee Relations Branch. Previously held position of Benefits Technical Examiner in the Office of Disability Operations. Has been with SSA for five years. Holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Claflin University. During her tenure as a volunteer for the Credit Union, she has gained insight from the Credit Union’s current members as far as what they need and require of an effective credit union. Securityplus FCU member since 2002.
Derryck Fletcher – Serves on the Supervisory Committee. Presently works in non-profit management. Previously employed by the Baltimore City Public School System and was a member of management at a Fortune 100 financial institution. He spends much of his time working at his church, volunteering for worthy causes and serving on boards for local organizations; has received numerous awards and honors for his civic work. He is the host of a popular Sunday morning radio program on WEAA-FM. Securityplus FCU member for over 20 years.
Rudolph T. Isaacs, Jr. - Serves as Assistant Treasurer. He began his accounting career as a tax intern at a local public accounting firm. During his tenure with the firm, he took a strong interest in accounting and worked his way from Staff Accountant to Supervising Senior Accountant. After five years, he switched gears and went to work for a well-known health care corporation as the Director of Accounting. It's also during this time that he became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Realizing his aptitude for accounting and his capacity to work well with persons at all levels, he ventured to start his own accounting practice. Securityplus FCU member since 1996.
